A trattoria. Like over there. And like here. 

After a year of reflection, Gabriel Caridi, of Italian origins, son of a restaurant owner and rich of his experience in the world of nightlife and Hip Hop, decided to come back to his first love.

Mio Posto, the osteria he created in the center of Liège, celebrates Italy without falling into the cliché of the faded postcard.

Some roots, one spirit

When he started working on this new place, Gabriel Caridi knew exactly what kind of spirit he wanted to create. At the heart of the project : Italy. That of gastronomy and authentic traditions. Through its terroir, its wines and its food products above all. Chosen with rigour and commitment, the Italian wines are accompanied by antipasti and small dishes (pasta, pizzas…) offered in sharing portions. A very Mediterranean way of celebrating the conviviality, exchange and sharing. What makes Mio Posto so different is the contemporary anchoring of the place. Because if the idea is to put the dishes at the center of the table, like at home, the spirit is nevertheless current, cosmopolitan and inspired by Paris or London’s trendy concepts.
